This collection consists of newspaper clippings documenting the death of Hank Williams and the response of his family and the city of Montgomery, Ala. Subjects discussed include Hank's funeral in 1953, reminiscences by family members, legal fights amongst the Williams family for copyright royalties, the possibilities of a Williams' drug overdose, planned Montgomery museums and memorials, and Hank Williams, Jr. The majority of clippings are filed loosely, but there is also a scrapbook containing mostly funeral notes.
